Found bright green cockatiel with yellow crest
I found this bright green cockatiel with a yellow crest this afternoon around 2:30pm near the Santa Barbara Public Library on Anacapa Street. It has distinctive orange patches on the cheeks and blue-tinted tail feathers. It seems healthy and fairly social, letting me approach and perch on a finger for a moment. There's no sign of a cage nearby, and it looks well cared for. If you're the owner, send a quick note here with a description of the bird, and we can arrange a safe meetup in a public spot to return it.
Found a vibrant green and yellow parakeet near the beach in Santa Barbara, California.
I found a vibrant green and yellow parakeet perched on a rock while I was walking along the beach in Santa Barbara this morning. The little guy seems friendly and was chirping softly. I've tried to capture him, but he quickly flew away a few feet and landed again, so he might still be around in the area. He doesnβt have any identification, but he's obviously someone's pet. If you're missing your feathered friend, please reach out!
Lost friendly pet canary named Sunny with bright yellow body and slight greenish wings in Santa Barbara.
I lost my pet canary while walking around my neighborhood in Santa Barbara. His name is Sunny and he is very friendly. He has a bright yellow body with a slight greenish tint on his wings. I'm really worried about him since he never goes far from home. If anyone sees him, please let me know!
