Red Ruffwear dog harness with reflective stripes
I lost my red Ruffwear dog harness with reflective stripes yesterday around 3pm near the Charleston City Market on King Street. It's a medium-sized harness, bright red with neon reflective piping and a small pink paw-print tag on the front buckle. There’s a tiny scuff on the left strap from a tumble at home, and the inside is a soft gray mesh. This harness carries sentimental value—my rescue dog Luna wore it when we adopted her last year, and I really need it back. If you found it, please text me and we can arrange a pickup somewhere in Charleston.
Blue parakeet with yellow tail and red leg band
I lost my blue parakeet Sky yesterday around 3pm after he slipped from his travel cage on our balcony on Meeting Street and darted toward Waterfront Park by the Pineapple Fountain. Sky is a small blue parakeet, about the size of a soda can, with a bright yellow tail and a red leg band engraved 'SKY-01' on his left leg. He’s a bit skittish around new people, but he’s gentle once you earn his trust. This bird is a rescue and means a lot to my family—my daughter named him Sky, and we really need him back. If you spot him, please email [email protected] or reply to this listing; any information helps.
Gray tabby cat with blue collar found near City Market
I found a medium-gray tabby cat with white paws this afternoon around 2:15pm near the City Market on Market Street in Charleston. It wears a blue collar with a small heart-shaped tag, and it has bright green eyes and a tiny white whisker by its left nose. It seems well cared for and was friendly enough to sit in my lap. I checked for a microchip but couldn't locate one, so I’m keeping it safe for now while searching for the owner. If this is your cat, message me here and we can arrange a meetup near Market Street in downtown Charleston.
Orange leopard gecko with speckles found near Market Street
Found an orange leopard gecko this afternoon around 2:30pm outside the Charleston City Market on Market Street, near Marion Square. It’s about 5 inches long from nose to tail, with bright orange skin and small black speckles; the tail is full and intact. Its eyes are a pale green-gold, and there’s a tiny white spot right behind the left front leg—rare feature I noticed. It seemed calm but scampers a bit when I moved, so I kept it in a small plastic container for safety. If this is yours, I’d love to reunite you— I’m around the Market Street area and can meet up or hand it over to a shelter if you prefer.
Bright green parakeet with yellow head, lost near Market Street
I lost my bright green parakeet named Kiwi yesterday around 3pm. It's palm-sized, with a yellow face and a tiny blue patch on the left wing. It wears a red leg band with the code KC-42 on its right leg, and one tail feather is a bit shorter from a past scrape. I last saw it near the Charleston City Market on Meeting Street, just outside the carriage stand, and it flew toward Waterfront Park. Kiwi was a gift from my grandmother, so I am really hoping to get him back.
Found cockatiel with orange cheeks near City Market
I found a cockatiel this afternoon around 4pm near City Market on Market Street in Charleston, SC. It's a small-to-medium bird, mostly yellow with gray wings and bright orange cheeks, and it has a blue leg band with the number 7C2 on the left leg. The bird hopped onto my finger and seemed fairly calm, but clearly eager to head back to a safe perch away from the crowd. I placed it on a makeshift perch by the City Market entrance on Market Street and posted this in hopes of a quick reunion with its owner.
