Orange leopard gecko with speckles found near Market Street
Found an orange leopard gecko this afternoon around 2:30pm outside the Charleston City Market on Market Street, near Marion Square. It’s about 5 inches long from nose to tail, with bright orange skin and small black speckles; the tail is full and intact. Its eyes are a pale green-gold, and there’s a tiny white spot right behind the left front leg—rare feature I noticed. It seemed calm but scampers a bit when I moved, so I kept it in a small plastic container for safety. If this is yours, I’d love to reunite you— I’m around the Market Street area and can meet up or hand it over to a shelter if you prefer.
Found a small green tree frog near a pond in a park in Charleston.
I found a small green tree frog hopping around the edge of a pond in a park in Charleston yesterday. It seems a bit scared but is otherwise healthy. If anyone is missing this little guy or knows someone who is, please reach out.
Lost small bright green pet green tree frog named Kermit near oak trees at Waterfront Park in Charleston.
I lost my beloved pet green tree frog, named Kermit, while I was at Waterfront Park in Charleston yesterday. I noticed he was missing when I was setting up for a picnic under the oak trees. Kermit is small, about the size of a palm, bright green with noticeable yellow under his legs. I would love to see him come back home, as he is a part of our family and is very friendly. If you find him, please contact me!
