I lost my blue parakeet Sky yesterday around 3pm after he slipped from his travel cage on our balcony on Meeting Street and darted toward Waterfront Park by the Pineapple Fountain. Sky is a small blue parakeet, about the size of a soda can, with a bright yellow tail and a red leg band engraved 'SKY-01' on his left leg. He’s a bit skittish around new people, but he’s gentle once you earn his trust. This bird is a rescue and means a lot to my family—my daughter named him Sky, and we really need him back.
