Grey dwarf hamster found near Hy-Vee in Worthington
I found a tiny grey dwarf hamster this afternoon around 3pm behind the Hy-Vee on East Main Street in Worthington, a town in Southwest Minnesota. It's about the size of a ping-pong ball, with a white belly and a dark stripe along its back. It was wearing a blue nylon harness, looks like a PetSafe brand, with a tiny bell that jingles when it moves. It seems healthy but a bit rattled from being out on the sidewalk. Iβm keeping it in a calm cage with water and a bit of carrot, hoping to reunite it with its owner who can describe the harness and the stripe. If youβre missing a hamster, tell me where you last had it and a couple of identifying details like the harness color or the white belly patch.
