Small tan beagle mix found near Kent Library
I found a small tan beagle mix this afternoon around 4:15pm in the parking lot behind the Kent Public Library on Main Street. He's about 25 pounds, with a white chest and a blue nylon collar that has a tiny heart-shaped tag but no name is visible. He seemed well cared for, very friendly, and eager to meet people, so I sat with him for a while to check for a microchip but didn't find one. He also has a distinctive white patch on his left hind leg, which might help the owner recognize him. I brought him to the Kent Animal Shelter on Willow Street to keep him safe while we try to reunite him with his person.
Found: Golden retriever with blue collar
I found a golden retriever this morning around 7:15am behind the Kent Central Market on Court Street. It has a fluffy golden coat with a white chest patch, and a blue collar with a bone-shaped tag that reads 'Milo'. The dog seemed friendly and curious, wagging its tail but a little nervous with traffic nearby. If this is your pup, please message meβI'll stay with him near the market until you can pick him up and we can reunite you.
