Sterling silver ring with emerald

Found a ring this afternoon around 2:45pm in the parking lot behind the Janesville Public Library on Main Street. It's a sterling silver band, about a size 7, with a small oval emerald set in a bezel and a tiny engraving on the inside that reads 'J.R.' IIt's in pretty good shape, with only a few light scratches from daily wear.
