Found green parrot with orange beak near Grassmarket
I found a small green parrot this afternoon around 2:15pm outside a cafe on Victoria Street, near the Grassmarket in Edinburgh. It's about the size of a large robin, with a bright orange beak and a few blue-tinted tips on the tail feathers. It wears a blue leg band with the code ED-23 and has a slightly ruffled look, like it's been out in the drizzle. It perched on my sleeve for a minute before hopping onto a nearby railing and looking around. I'm hoping to reunite it with its owner—if you recognize this bird, message me here with the leg band code and where you last saw it; we can arrange a safe meet-up in Edinburgh to return it.
Green budgie with blue tail found near Grassmarket
I found a small green budgie perched on a cafe railing near Grassmarket this afternoon around 3:45pm. It has a bright lime-green body, a yellow head, and a cobalt-blue tail. There's a blue plastic leg band on the right leg with the digits 04-BG. It seemed healthy, chirping softly, and looked like a pet rather than a wild bird. If anyone recognizes this little guy, please get in touch — I’d really like to help get him back to his owner.

I found a beautiful green and yellow parakeet just sitting on a bench at Princes Street Gardens in Edinburgh. It seemed a bit lost and was chirping away, looking for someone. I’ve kept it safe and would love to reunite it with its owner, as it clearly belongs somewhere. If you think this might be your bird, please get in touch!
