Lost: Two hamsters near Scott Monument, Edinburgh
I was strolling along Princes Street near the Scott Monument around 7:45 PM last night when my two hamsters, Pepper and Noodle, slipped from their travel carrier. They are tiny, with pale fur and bright red harnesses, and they love nibbling on cucumber when they are curious. I am worried because Edinburgh streets are busy and the wind carried them into the crowds. Please respond through the site if you see any small escaped explorers near the Scott Monument.

Found: Train near Waverley Station, Edinburgh
Yesterday afternoon around 4:20 pm I found a Train engine lying on the pavement by Waverley Bridge, Edinburgh. It’s a sturdy brass-and-green model, a touch scuffed from the day’s bustle, with a tiny sticker that reads 'Made in Sheffield.' I picked it up, checked the surrounding benches, and tucked it into my bag, hoping the owner might be nearby. It looks well-loved, as if it’s travelled with someone who cares about it. If this sounds like yours, have a look around the Waverley area and the Royal Mile—I’ll keep it safe until the rightful owner is found.
Lost kittens near Grassmarket, Edinburgh
Last night, around 11:30 p.m., I realized my kittens were missing after I stepped out of a late dinner near Grassmarket. I wandered the lanes of Edinburgh, calling their names and peeking under benches by Victoria Street, hoping they’d wander back. My heart is pounding as I think of them huddled somewhere cold or frightened, and I’m trying not to panic. One is a tortoiseshell with a brave little face, the other a fluffy grey tabby—siblings who stick close to each other. If anyone spots them, please keep them safe and tell me through the site; I just want them home.
Lost swimsuits in Edinburgh
On a bright Saturday in Edinburgh, around 11:20 AM I realized my swimsuits were missing after a quick dip at Portobello Beach. I laid them out on a blanket near the lifeguard hut and wandered along the promenade, thinking I’d placed them by the water's edge. By the time I reached the Royal Mile later that day, they were nowhere in sight. Those swimsuits were essential for this weekend's plans, and losing them stung more than I expected. If anyone found them around Portobello or near Waverley Station, I’d be grateful to hear they’re safe.

Pins lost near Scott Monument
Hello, I’m Isla MacLeod. I lost a small set of enamel pins around 9:15 a.m. today near the Scott Monument on Princes Street, Edinburgh. They’re five pins in different shapes—a lighthouse, a thistle, a tiny bagpipe, a castle, and a skyline. I keep thinking about the trip to Holyrood Park last summer and how these pins reminded me of that day. If they’ve turned up anywhere along Princes Street or beside the Scott Monument, I would be grateful beyond words.
Lost driver's license near Edinburgh Castle
I'm Liam MacLeod. I lost my driver's license after an evening stroll near the Royal Mile, around 8:45 p.m. on Monday, close to the junction of Princes Street and Lothian Road. It was in a dark-blue wallet with a small dent in the corner; I’d been walking from a pub on the Grassmarket toward Waverley Station when I realized it wasn't in my pocket anymore. The license is essential, and I'm hoping someone picked it up and handed it in somewhere around Edinburgh Castle and the Scott Monument.

Lost dresses near Royal Mile, Edinburgh
I was near the Scott Monument on the Royal Mile around 8:15 PM on Friday, trying to get ready for a friend's wedding when I realized I had lost my dresses. I had two gowns: a pale-blue satin maxi with a silver belt, and a black sequin-embellished sheath. The cobbles along the Royal Mile and the glow of the streetlights made my heart sink as I retraced my steps outside St Giles' Cathedral. These dresses are all I have for the ceremony, and time is tight. If you found them, please keep them safe so I can arrange a pickup through the Lost-and-Found on the site.
SanDisk SD card with Shetland bird photos
A Sandisk brand SD card, 16 or 32 GB (I don't remember exactly, sorry), in a small, transparent plastic protective case. It's full of pictures I took, badgers and red spiders at first, but also, and especially, of Shetland birds, which are incredibly valuable to me; I'm doing everything I can to recover them...
