Found blue velvet armchair with brass legs
I found a mid-century blue velvet armchair with brass legs this afternoon around 3:45 pm, propped against the wall outside the Cameo cinema on Lothian Road, Edinburgh. The chair is in decent condition overall; the upholstery is a rich cobalt blue with a few light snags and a circular coffee-ring stain on the seat. The brass legs have a brushed finish and one leg has a tiny dent near the crossbar, which is pretty distinctive. On the underside of the seat there’s a faded fabric tag that reads something like 'Mira'—could be a clue for the owner. I figured someone might be missing this and would really like to see it go to a good home; if it belongs to you, I’m happy to arrange a swap or drop-off.

I found a beautiful vintage oak dining table last Sunday near Holyrood Park in Edinburgh. It seems to be in great condition, and I think it might have been left behind during a move. I would love to reunite it with its owner if they can describe it to me!
