Cream duvet cover with blue piping, lost near Scott Monument
I lost my cream duvet cover with blue piping yesterday around 3pm near the Scott Monument in Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh. It’s a king-size, 100% cotton cover with a soft waffle texture and a tiny snag along the bottom seam. There’s a faint coffee stain on the back, easy to spot if you peek inside. It’s sentimental to me because it was a gift from my mum, and I’d really appreciate getting it back.
Blue Makita 12V drill in blue case found near Grassmarket
Found a blue Makita 12V cordless drill this morning around 9am in the Grassmarket area, outside the coffee shop on Victoria Street. It's in a slightly scuffed blue hard case with a black rubber grip and a red paint stripe on the battery. Inside the lid there's a sticker that reads 'Makita 12V DF330D' and there's a small initials sticker 'LM' on the case. The drill looks well-used but in good condition, and there's no charger attached. I figured someone might be missing it after finishing a shift at a nearby building site and would really like to return it. If you think it's yours, tell me the brand and the sticker initials to verify.
White iPad Pro 11-inch in blue case
Found a white Apple iPad Pro 11-inch in a blue silicone case this past Tuesday around 5:15pm on Princes Street, Edinburgh, just outside the Scott Monument by the tram stop. The back has the initials 'LH' engraved and there’s a small green sticker on the corner of the case. The screen protector is cracked and there are light scratches along the edge from daily use. I’m glad I found it and I’d love to return it to its owner—text or email me with the initials and the blue case, and we can arrange a quick meetup near the tram stop.
Found blue velvet armchair with brass legs
I found a mid-century blue velvet armchair with brass legs this afternoon around 3:45 pm, propped against the wall outside the Cameo cinema on Lothian Road, Edinburgh. The chair is in decent condition overall; the upholstery is a rich cobalt blue with a few light snags and a circular coffee-ring stain on the seat. The brass legs have a brushed finish and one leg has a tiny dent near the crossbar, which is pretty distinctive. On the underside of the seat there’s a faded fabric tag that reads something like 'Mira'—could be a clue for the owner. I figured someone might be missing this and would really like to see it go to a good home; if it belongs to you, I’m happy to arrange a swap or drop-off.
Found a stainless steel pot with a glass lid on the walking path near the Water of Leith in Edinburgh.
I found a stainless steel pot with a glass lid on the walking path near the Water of Leith in Edinburgh. It looks brand new, and I think it might have fallen from someone's bag. It was a nice sunny day, so maybe someone took a picnic nearby and left it behind. I would love to return it to its owner!

I found a beautiful vintage oak dining table last Sunday near Holyrood Park in Edinburgh. It seems to be in great condition, and I think it might have been left behind during a move. I would love to reunite it with its owner if they can describe it to me!
