Found photographs in downtown Dubuque
I found a bundle of old photographs on the sidewalk outside the Dubuque County Courthouse around 9:45 this morning. They show a family at a 1960s picnic, a wedding party by a church, and a riverfront scene with a vintage car. I can imagine the stories behind these images and feel hopeful about reuniting them with their owner. I’ve kept them safe and dry, and I’d love to help the rightful owner reclaim them through this site.

I lost my blue hardcover copy of The Midnight Library yesterday around 3pm near the Diamond Jo Casino on Main Street in Dubuque. It's a 6x9 inch hardcover with a blue cloth cover, gold lettering on the spine, and a slightly creased dust jacket. There's a tiny coffee stain on the bottom edge and a red heart-shaped bookmark sticking out from page 76. Inside the back cover is a yellow sticky note with my initials 'PK' and my phone number. It's a softcover, about 320 pages, with a few creases on the corners and a bright red bookmark peeking out from page 176. Inside the front cover there's a tiny handwritten note in blue ink reading 'For Mom's Birthday'—a sentimental detail that helps me identify it. This book was a gift from my mom and it means a lot to me; I used to bring it to our book club meetings, and it's the one I always keep by my bed. I lost my black 64GB SanDisk Ultra USB-C flash drive yesterday around 3pm near the Diamond Jo Casino along the Mississippi Riverwalk in Dubuque. It's a small metal case, about the size of my thumbnail, with a lime green sticker on the back bearing my initials PP. It also has a slight dent on the corner from a fall last month. Inside are some work slides and a family video from last Christmas—things I really need back.
