I was wandering around Cardiff city centre yesterday evening when I realized my sandals had vanished. Around 5:30 PM, outside a cafe near Cardiff Castle on Westgate Street, I slipped off my sandals while I waited for friends, and I must have left them behind when we headed to the bus stop. They’re tan with a small tear on the left strap and a faded logo on the sole. I’m feeling a mix of embarrassment and relief at the chance to get them back, and I’m hopeful someone picked them up and kept them safe near the castle gates.
I was walking home from a late shift on Friday at 8:45 pm when I spotted a bundle of white sheets wedged between a bench and a wheelie bin outside Cardiff Central Library. They looked clean and freshly laundered, neatly folded as if ready for a guest room. My heart sank a little, thinking someone must be worried and searching for them, so I picked them up and kept them safe while I posted this note. If these sheets are yours, you’ll recognise the crisp fabric and the exact place I found them: just outside the main doors, beside the lamppost where the rain had left a slick on the pavement.

Lost this small white sheep teddy - my 2 year olds first ever teddy which he has been carrying with him everywhere around Cardiff. We’re from North Wales on a trip and leaving on Friday. Lost somewhere between Cathays Park - then went through Cardiff Markets - then went through Queens Arcade - then back to Premier Inn in the city centre. His sister recalls him having it in Queens Arcade but he fell asleep in his pram and we think has dropped it along the way. It was always blowing a gale the entire time which means it could’ve blown anywhere.
I was leaving the library around 7:45 p.m. last Friday when I realized my travel visas were missing from my folder. They’re blue A4 documents with my name on the top sheet and a small embassy stamp in the corner. They’re essential for an upcoming work trip, and I’m anxious about the delays a missing visa could bring. I last had them on a cafe table near Cardiff Castle and in the concourse by Cardiff Central Library, possibly left on St Mary Street. It would mean the world to have them back.
Hi, I'm Megan Thomas. I found a bundle of dog collars along the path by Mermaid Quay in Cardiff Bay around 2:15 pm this afternoon. They range from a bright red nylon collar to a weathered leather one, all damp from rain but otherwise intact. I tucked them into my bag and brought them home to post here, hoping the rightful owner will see this listing. The collars look recently used and could belong to a dog rescued in the area; I didn't move or touch anything else.
I was rushing to finish a meeting at Cardiff Central Library yesterday, around 4:15 pm, when I think I left my document holders on a chair in the quiet reading area by the reference desk. They’re a slim black leather pair with my initials GE embossed on the front. Inside are a few work notes and some travel documents I need for tomorrow. I’ve checked the cafe and the lobby, but I can’t shake the feeling they’re somewhere in the library. Losing them has me stressed—it’s more than papers, it’s about keeping track of important details for a big presentation next week.
