Red-eared slider turtle with blue paint mark
I found a red-eared slider turtle this afternoon around 3:15 PM near the Resaca de la Palma State Park entrance on Boca Chica Blvd in Brownsville. It's about 3 inches long, with an olive-green carapace and bright yellow striping, and the underbelly is pale yellow with a couple of small dark specks. There’s a small blue paint mark along the left edge of the shell, and the right front toe looks a bit bent from a past scrape. It seemed healthy and curious, poking its head out from a nearby log by the drainage ditch. Grey tabby cat with blue collar missing near La Plaza
Hey, I lost my grey tabby cat with a blue collar yesterday around 3pm. I was near La Plaza Mall on Paredes Line Road, by the outdoor food court, when he darted off. He's a medium-sized guy, about 10 pounds, with a white chest and a tiny white toe on his left front paw, plus a small orange speck on his nose. His collar is bright blue with a small enamel tag that says 'Milo' and has my number on the back. I am pretty sure he's microchipped, but I can't recall the number right now. This cat is family to me; he's been with us since last year and I am really worried. If anyone finds him, please text me. I would be forever grateful to have him back.

I lost my pink nylon dog collar around 3pm yesterday near the Brownsville Public Library on Main Street. It's a small collar, bright neon pink with a white paw print pattern and a silver name tag engraved with 'Luna'. The strap shows a bit of wear, and the D-ring has a little rust from the rain last week. It’s the only collar Luna wears, and she loves to slip out for short quick sprints in the park, so I’m worried she might wander off again. I found this medium-sized beagle mix this afternoon around 4:15pm near Riverfront Park, by the old train depot at 2nd Street and Adams Ave in Brownsville. It has a tan and white coat with a distinctive black patch over its right eye and a white-tipped tail. It's wearing a bright blue nylon collar with a small heart-shaped tag that reads 'Nova.' The dog seemed friendly and wagged its tail as I approached; I checked for a microchip but couldn't find any owner contact, so if this is your dog, send me a message at [email protected] and we can arrange a reunion.

I lost my pet green tree frog named Leafy in the backyard of my home in Brownsville. He must have jumped out of his enclosure while I was cleaning it. Leafy is a small, bright green frog with a few tiny dark spots on his back, and he loves to hide under leaves. He's really friendly and has a little chip on his leg that I can recognize.
