Calico cat with bell collar, lost near Rankin Ave
I lost my calico cat yesterday around 3pm. She's a medium-sized girl with a mostly orange-black calico coat, white chest, and a tiny white tuft under her chin. She wears a red collar with a small brass bell and has a distinct notch in her left ear and a heart-shaped white patch on her throat. I last saw her near Battery Park Book Exchange on Rankin Ave in Asheville, darting toward the alley behind the Odditorium. She's my baby and really means the world to me; I adopted her last year and she's become part of the family; I'm so worried and missing her.
Leopard gecko in glass terrarium
I found a leopard gecko today, yellow-tan with brown spots and a bright orange tail, about 4 inches long. It's in a clear glass terrarium with a cork hide, a little fake plant, and a small heat mat under the substrate. I found it this afternoon around 2:45pm in the Grove Arcade parking lot behind Pack Square in downtown Asheville. The gecko seems healthy, no collar or tag, and its eyes are bright and curious. It has a couple identifying marks: a small crescent-shaped white speck on its neck and a slightly bent right hind toe. If you're the owner or know someone who is missing a reptile, please reach out - I'm glad to help reunite it with its person.
Found: tan-and-white dog with red collar near Pack Square
I found a medium-sized dog this afternoon around 4pm wandering near Pack Square Park in downtown Asheville, by City Hall on College Street. It's a tan-and-white mix, about 45 pounds, wearing a bright red collar with a small round tag bearing a phone number. The dog has a distinctive white heart-shaped patch on his chest and a tiny notch in the right ear. He seemed friendly, wagging his tail and leaning into me when I spoke, and he was a little anxious, so I stayed with him until I could post this. Lost short-haired orange tabby cat named Whiskers with green eyes and a white chest patch near Haw Creek, Asheville.
My cat, Whiskers, went missing yesterday evening around Haw Creek in Asheville. He is a short-haired, orange tabby with green eyes and a small white patch on his chest. He has a collar with his name and my contact number. Whiskers is very friendly and loves to explore, but he usually comes back home when called. I'm really worried about him and would appreciate any help in bringing him back!
Found small blue parakeet with yellow cheek markings in backyard garden fence in Asheville.
I found a small blue parakeet in my backyard here in Asheville last night. It was perched on my garden fence and seemed a little disoriented but appears healthy otherwise. It has bright yellow markings on its cheeks and was chirping away. I tried to locate its owner by checking around the neighborhood, but I haven't had any luck so far. I'm hoping someone recognizes this little guy and can come claim him!
