Lost & found seasonal items in Western IL

Lost: Holiday decorations near Macomb Public Library.

I was loading groceries into my SUV outside the Macomb Public Library on Main Street, Western Illinois, around 7:15 p.m. Friday when I realize I must have left a box of holiday decorations behind. The box held fragile glass ornaments, a garland with red berries, and a string of warm-white lights I bought after my grandmother passed away. They’re not just décor; they’re memories. I retraced my steps through the library parking lot and the sidewalk along Main Street, but the night was cold and noisy, and the box was gone. I’m holding out hope someone found them and kept them safe. If you saw a box tucked against a curb or in a car's hatch area, please consider that these items matter deeply to me.
