Lost black fanny pack/small purse. Brand: REI (REI Co-op). Contains purple wallet, keys, etc. Leaving the area in a couple weeks, urgent. I definitely had it in the Building Museum. Walked to American History Museum (past law enforcement memorial and post office pavilion), then from American History to Union Station. Realized I lost it while on the train.

I found a black leather briefcase on a bench near Dupont Circle in Washington DC on October 12th. It appears to be quite full, with what looks like some important documents and a laptop inside. There was no ID, but it does have a distinctive blue tag on the handle that might be helpful for the owner to identify it.
