Grey tabby cat with white paws near Utica Public Library
I lost my grey tabby cat Milo yesterday around 3pm. He’s a medium-sized guy with white paws and a tiny white heart-shaped patch on his chest, and he wears a light blue collar with a small silver bell. He slipped out from the back door near the Utica Public Library on Genesee Street and wandered toward the canal path; he also has a slight limp on his left hind leg. Milo isn’t just a pet—he’s a gift from my grandmother, and I’m really hoping someone spotted him and can help bring him home; if you’ve seen him, email me at [email protected].
Bearded dragon with blue tail stripe
I found a bearded dragon this afternoon around 2:15pm in the parking lot behind the Utica Public Library on Genesee Street. It’s about 8 inches long from snout to tail, olive-green with darker crossbands and a bright blue stripe at the tail tip. It has a small notch/scar near the left nostril and has a calm, curious vibe, like it was used to people. I’ve kept it in a temporary terrarium with a heat lamp and some leafy greens to help it settle. My beloved brown Labrador retriever, Max, went missing yesterday while we were walking near the park by the mall in Utica-Rome-Oneida. He slipped off his leash when he spotted a squirrel and ran off. Our pet rabbit, a small gray Netherlands Dwarf named Thumper, got out of the backyard yesterday. We were playing outside in the yard, and he must have squeezed through a gap in the fence. He was last seen near the local park by Riverside Drive. He loves to hide under bushes and might be scared, so please check your gardens!
