Hand-painted hummingbird ceramic sculpture
I lost my hand-painted ceramic hummingbird sculpture yesterday around 3pm near the Ore Dock Park on Front Street in Marquette, Upper Peninsula. It’s a small piece, about 6 inches tall, with a glossy cobalt-blue glaze and a tiny gold beak. There’s a fine crack along the wing and a speckled pattern on the chest that make it easy to identify. It was a gift from my grandmother and means a lot to me, so I really need it back. If you’ve seen it or picked it up, send me a note here and I’ll arrange a meetup to pick it up.
Blue Shimano fishing rod with orange reel
I lost my blue Shimano spinning rod with a neon orange reel yesterday around 3pm near Presque Isle Park in Marquette, Upper Peninsula. The rod is about 6'6" with a blue finish and a black, slightly worn grip, and the reel is a bright orange Shimano spinning reel attached to a green camouflage tackle bag. The bag's mesh pocket is torn, and I wrote 'Dad' in black Sharpie on it. This rod is my go-to for local lake fishing and holds sentimental value because it was a gift from my grandfather. If anyone finds it, I’d really appreciate knowing it's back with me.
Found vintage coin collection with display case
I found a small vintage coin collection this afternoon around 2:15pm in the parking lot behind the Copper Harbor Lighthouse gift shop on M-26, in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. It's housed in a red velvet-lined display case with a brass latch and includes coins from the early 1900s, plus a tiny photo of a woman in period dress tucked between the pages. I wasn’t sure who it belonged to—locals or a traveler—but it looked valuable to a serious collector. If you’re missing it, tell me the exact coins you saw and anything written on the display case so I can get it back to you.
Antique gold pocket watch with engraved initials
I lost my antique gold pocket watch yesterday around 3pm near the Soo Locks viewing area along the riverfront in Sault Ste. Marie, Upper Peninsula. It's a 1920s Hamilton pocket watch with a gold-filled case, about 1.75 inches across, and a black dial with Roman numerals. The back is engraved with the initials 'J.L.K.' and there’s a tiny crack along the glass at the 4 o'clock position. It came on a worn brown leather fob chain and holds serious sentimental value—it's been in my family for generations. If anyone picked it up, please reach out; I’d be so grateful to have it back.
Found a rare vintage 1970s baseball card near Upper Peninsula, Michigan.
I found a rare vintage baseball card from the 1970s while hiking in the woods near Upper Peninsula. It appeared to be in great condition, featuring a famous player. If you lost this card recently, please reach out with details so I can make sure it gets back to its rightful owner.
