Blue budgie with leg band, missing near Centennial Hall
I lost my blue budgie Pico yesterday around 3pm near Centennial Hall on Front Street in Juneau, Southeast Alaska. It's a small, bright blue bird with teal on the wings and a pale yellow face, about palm-sized, and it wears a silver leg band with 'PP' on the right leg. Pico is quite tame and loves to perch on my shoulder when I'm indoors, so the sudden disappearance has me worried and missing our daily chats. This bird has sentimental value—Pico was a gift from my grandmother, and I'd really appreciate getting him back.
Found a healthy green parrot with a small red leg band on a porch in Southeast Alaska.
I found a lovely green parrot sitting on my porch in Southeast Alaska yesterday. It seemed healthy and friendly, but I noticed it had a small red band on its leg. I can’t tell exactly how long it has been away from home. If anyone is looking for this little guy, please reach out!
