He's about medium size, a bit shy but affectionate once he warms up, and he has a tiny notch in his left ear from a past scrape. I found a blue parakeet this afternoon around 3:15pm perched on a railing near Falls Park on Main Ave in Sioux Falls, SD. It has a bright yellow head, blue body, white cheeks, and a pinkish beak, about palm-sized, with one small white feather snag under the left wing. There’s a small silver leg band on its right leg with the code 'SD-041'. The bird seemed calm and a bit curious, and it hopped onto my finger when I approached.
