Blue-glazed porcelain fox sculpture found near Sioux City Art Center
Found this blue-glazed porcelain fox sculpture this afternoon around 2:15pm, outside the Sioux City Art Center on 4th Street, near the entrance. It's about 8 inches tall, with a matte cobalt-blue glaze and delicate hand-painted fur details. The base has a tiny studio sticker that reads 'Studio Nine Pottery' and there's a small chip on the left ear that's barely noticeable unless you look closely. Overall it's in good condition and clearly one-of-a-kind. If you think this could be yours, I’m happy to hold onto it and help get it back to you.
Gray trail running shoes with neon orange laces
Found a pair of gray trail running shoes this afternoon around 1:15pm behind the downtown library on Main Street, near the riverfront bike racks. They’re men’s size 10, by Nike, with neon orange laces and a small blue stitch on the heel tab. The left shoe has a tiny scuff on the toe, and there’s a faint logo impression on the side. Blue Mega Bloks city toy set found near library
Found a blue Mega Bloks city toy set this afternoon around 3:45 pm in the parking lot behind the Sioux City Public Library on Court Street. It’s all in a small yellow tub, about 8 inches across, with blue and red bricks and a couple of little white wheels. The tub lid has a faded sticker of a cartoon lion, and one blue 2x4 brick has a tiny heart-shaped scratch—easy to spot. The bricks look clean but dusty, and the set seems complete enough for a kid to build with. If you recognize this, message me and I’ll get it back to you.

I lost my blue Giro bike helmet yesterday around 3pm. It's a size M, glossy royal blue with a white reflective stripe along the edge and a small scratch on the left shell. The inside padding is gray and a little worn from daily rides. I was cruising the Sioux City Riverfront Trail, near the 4th Street pedestrian bridge by the city marina when I must have dropped it near the bike racks. It felt like a practical safety piece and it also carries sentimental value; my sister gave it to me last year to celebrate finishing my first half-marathon. I lost a teal/cyan stuffed rabbit in the Barnes & Noble parking lot. The rabbit has a sad face and a zipper on its back, with a unicorn pochacco stuffed keychain attached to it. I lost it yesterday, Jan 13, around 3-5 p.m.

It’s a mint-condition set in a small acrylic display case with a faded red felt lining, and includes Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia, and two alien figures. The packaging shows light wear, but the figures look intact; the display case has a blue Rebel Alliance pin on the bottom edge and a tiny dent in the corner as unique identifiers. I found them behind the entrance to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City on 1st Ave, near the valet area. Found this vintage coin collection this morning around 9:40 am behind the Tyson Events Center parking lot in downtown Sioux City. It’s kept in a dark red leather binder with gold embossing that says Coin Collection on the front. Inside there are coins from the 1800s through the mid-1900s, some with a brown patina and a few showy mint marks. A small sticky note with the initials 'J.S.' is tucked into one pocket, and there’s a tiny sticker on the inside cover labeled 'K-112'. I’m hoping to get this back to its owner, since it looks well-loved and clearly meaningful to someone.

I believe I lost a set of vintage baseball cards while visiting Riverside Park in Sioux City last weekend. The collection includes several rare cards such as a Ken Griffey Jr. rookie card and a holographic Barry Bonds. They were kept in a protective binder that also has some personal photos in it. I really hope someone finds them, as they are my most valued collectibles from childhood.
