I lost my blue hardcover poetry book yesterday around 3pm near the Sioux City Public Library on Court Street. It's a 6x9 inch edition with a slightly worn blue cloth cover, and a bright orange ribbon bookmark that sticks out a bit. There’s a coffee ring on the back cover and a small Moonstone Press sticker on the inside of the front cover. I also left a tiny note on the first page with a favorite quote, still tucked there under the dust jacket. It means a lot to me—my grandmother gave it to me—and I’m really hoping to get it back if someone happens to have picked it up nearby.
I lost my black KORG clip-on guitar tuner this afternoon around 3pm. It's tiny, about 1.5 inches tall, matte black, with a small red silicone clip and a cracked LCD screen from a fall last month. I must have dropped it while walking from the Sioux City Music Academy on 12th Street toward the Orpheum Theatre on 6th Street; I think it ended up somewhere near the crosswalk by the coffee shop on Main Street. This tuner is essential for rehearsals and gigs this weekend, and it was a gift from my dad, so I’d be incredibly grateful to get it back.
I lost a teal/cyan stuffed rabbit in the Barnes & Noble parking lot. The rabbit has a sad face and a zipper on its back, with a unicorn pochacco stuffed keychain attached to it. I lost it yesterday, Jan 13, around 3-5 p.m.
I lost my iPhone 12 Pro, black, 128GB, around 3pm yesterday near the Starbucks on Main Street in downtown Sioux City. It's in a blue silicone bumper case, and there's a small white fox sticker on the back along with a cracked screen protector. The phone also has a tiny dent on the lower-right corner and a saved photo of my grandmother's handwriting as the lock-screen wallpaper. I was walking from the cafe toward the riverfront when it must have slipped from my pocket. I really need to get it back; it's filled with personal photos and work notes. If anyone finds it, email me at [email protected].
I lost my silver bracelet yesterday around 3pm near the Sioux City Public Library on Court Street. It's a slender sterling-silver chain about 7 inches long, with a tiny heart charm engraved 'A.L.' and a small lavender amethyst bead near the clasp. It was a gift from my grandmother, so it means a lot to me and I'd be really grateful to get it back. If anyone found it, please text me here or drop it at the library desk; I can describe the exact clasp and hallmark.
Found this afternoon around 3:50pm behind the Main Library on 4th Street in downtown Sioux City. It’s a black 12-inch T-fal nonstick skillet, comes with a clear glass lid that has a small steam vent. The handle is wrapped in a bright blue silicone sleeve that’s seen some wear. There’s a tiny chip on the outer rim and a few scratches along the bottom from regular use. The lid seals well and the pan cleans up nicely. If it’s yours, drop a note here and we can arrange a safe pickup.
Found a vintage Star Wars action figure collection this afternoon around 2:30pm. It’s a mint-condition set in a small acrylic display case with a faded red felt lining, and includes Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia, and two alien figures. The packaging shows light wear, but the figures look intact; the display case has a blue Rebel Alliance pin on the bottom edge and a tiny dent in the corner as unique identifiers. I found them behind the entrance to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City on 1st Ave, near the valet area. This collection feels meaningful to someone; if this is yours, message me in the app and we can arrange pickup.
I found a silver-toned heart pendant necklace this afternoon around 3:15pm near the Main Street entrance to the Sioux City Public Library on Court Street. My necklace features a chain about 18 inches, sterling silver, with a simple lobster clasp that shows a little wear from daily use. The pendant is a delicate hollow heart, about the size of a nickel, with a tiny engraving on the back—'M+L'—that might help identify ownership. It's in decent condition aside from mild tarnish on the chain. If this sounds like yours, send me a quick message here and we’ll arrange a safe handoff to get it back to you.
Found this vintage coin collection this morning around 9:40 am behind the Tyson Events Center parking lot in downtown Sioux City. It’s kept in a dark red leather binder with gold embossing that says Coin Collection on the front. Inside there are coins from the 1800s through the mid-1900s, some with a brown patina and a few showy mint marks. A small sticky note with the initials 'J.S.' is tucked into one pocket, and there’s a tiny sticker on the inside cover labeled 'K-112'. I’m hoping to get this back to its owner, since it looks well-loved and clearly meaningful to someone.
I found an elegant black tuxedo on the bench outside The Sioux City Auditorium last Saturday evening after the charity gala. It has a size 42 jacket and features satin lapels, alongside matching pants and a white dress shirt. The tuxedo was in a garment bag with no identifying details, so I would love to return it to its rightful owner.
