Lost pins near Scranton Public Square
I was strolling past Scranton / Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania's Public Square around 6:40 pm last Friday when I realized my enamel pins had fallen off my jacket. It was humid and a light drizzle, and I brushed past people near Market Street as I headed toward the Steamtown entrance. The pins are three small enamel pieces: a silver train, a tiny blue star, and a heart with pink edging. They were gifts from my grandmother, and losing them feels silly yet heavy with memory. If someone found them, I'd be grateful to know they're safe -- they're the keepsakes I have left of her.
Found: wrist watches on a bench near Steamtown
Last Thursday at about 7:45 p.m., I found two wrist watches on a bench outside the Steamtown National Historic Site in Scranton. The leather straps were scuffed and the faces showed weathering from daily wear, like someone had hurried to a bus and left them behind. I could imagine the owner circling the area, checking pockets and bags, hoping they were still nearby. I hope whoever lost these sees this and knows someone cared enough to post them here.

I found a small silver-tone necklace this afternoon around 2:45pm near Public Square in Wilkes-Barre. It's about an 18-inch chain with a tiny freshwater pearl pendant and a little heart charm engraved with 'M' on the back. The chain has a few surface scratches but the pearl is pristine, and it looks like it's been cared for. It may have sentimental value to whoever lost it, and Iād love to return it to its owner if you claim it.
