Lost two toasters near Steamtown Mall, Scranton

Hi, I'm Alex Rivera. I lost two toasters after cleaning up at a friend's apartment near Steamtown Mall in Scranton around 8:15 a.m. today. They're silver, one 4-slice Hamilton Beach and the other 2-slice Black+Decker, both with a few scratches on the chrome. I must have left them on the kitchen counter and hurried out to catch a bus. They're important to me for quick breakfasts, and I'd be grateful if the owner saw this and can help reunite them with me.

Lost pins near Scranton Public Square

I was strolling past Scranton / Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania's Public Square around 6:40 pm last Friday when I realized my enamel pins had fallen off my jacket. It was humid and a light drizzle, and I brushed past people near Market Street as I headed toward the Steamtown entrance. The pins are three small enamel pieces: a silver train, a tiny blue star, and a heart with pink edging. They were gifts from my grandmother, and losing them feels silly yet heavy with memory. If someone found them, I'd be grateful to know they're safe -- they're the keepsakes I have left of her.

FOUND Travel Bags — Scranton / Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, United States

Today around 3:30 p.m., I found a set of Travel Bags outside the Steamtown National Historic Site on Lackawanna Ave in Scranton. They were left on the steps near the entrance, a navy bag and a black bag with worn straps. I checked inside and saw clothes and travel essentials, nothing dangerous, and I brought them to the lost-and-found area at the site. I hope the owner sees this and can reclaim them through the website.

Lost sheet music at Scranton Public Library, PA.

Last night around 9:30 PM I was in the Scranton Public Library, Main Branch, near the music stacks by the piano practice room off North Washington Avenue when I noticed my sheet music was missing from my tote. The binder was light blue with purple ink notes, containing pages for a small jazz ensemble and a few rehearsal sheets from the community college. I’m a composer who’s been at it all week, and these scores carry weeks of work and memory. I’m tired and hopeful that someone found them and will return them to the library desk for me.

Found Holiday Decorations in Scranton

FOUND: I found a tote of holiday decorations outside Steamtown National Historic Site in Scranton around 8:20 AM today. The bag holds garlands, strings of lights, and a small nativity set, all tucked into a plaid tote with a frayed handle. I stood by the pedestrian entrance for a moment, hoping the owner would appear, but no one did. These decorations look like they belong to a family gearing up for Christmas, and I’d love to see them back with their rightful owner.

Lost organizers in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area

I was volunteering at a community event near The Mall at Steamtown in Scranton when I realized my set of three white plastic organizers with color-coded labels had vanished from a bench around 2:40 p.m. Friday. They live in a blue tote and hold all the notes and schedules for tomorrow’s meeting, so losing them felt like losing the plan itself. I’m hoping someone picked them up and kept them safe. If these sound like yours, please check this listing and connect through the site to reunite them with me.

Found chairs near Public Square, Scranton

I was out for an early coffee run near Public Square in Scranton around 7:45 a.m. today when I spotted three chairs stacked behind a storefront, clearly abandoned but salvageable. There’s a faded oak armchair, a light dining chair, and a small wicker seat; they look sturdy and mostly clean, just dusty from street level. I left them together in a safe spot and snapped a photo, hoping the owner will recognize them when they see this post. If you posted these chairs, please claim them through the site.

Suits lost after interview at Mall at Steamtown

I lost my suits after a job interview at the Mall at Steamtown in Scranton, not far from Wilkes-Barre, around 4:15 PM on Sunday. I had just changed into the interview outfit and paused by the food court to gather my notes when the crowded walkway spiked my nerves and the hanger slipped from my bag. The navy two-piece suit is tailored, with a black belt and crisp shirt; it’s not just clothes, it’s my chance at a new start. I’ve already retraced the path from the entrance to the department store, checked the escalators, and asked at customer service, but no sign yet. I’m hopeful someone honest found them and kept them safe for me.

Found: wrist watches on a bench near Steamtown

Last Thursday at about 7:45 p.m., I found two wrist watches on a bench outside the Steamtown National Historic Site in Scranton. The leather straps were scuffed and the faces showed weathering from daily wear, like someone had hurried to a bus and left them behind. I could imagine the owner circling the area, checking pockets and bags, hoping they were still nearby. I hope whoever lost these sees this and knows someone cared enough to post them here.

Found: Equipment for Various Sports in Scranton

On Tuesday at 6:45 pm, I found a sports gear bag near the main entrance to the Steamtown National Historic Site in Scranton. Inside was Equipment for Various Sports—a basketball, a tennis racket, a pair of sneakers, and a water bottle with a faded team logo. I stood there a moment thinking about the person who lost it and how panicked they must be, especially after a long day of practice. I brought the bag to the security desk so it would stay safe, and I’m hoping the owner sees this and claims it through the site. It feels oddly hopeful to know someone might get it back.

Two saxophones missing after rehearsal near Steamtown.

Last Saturday, I was packing up after a late rehearsal near Steamtown in downtown Scranton around 9:15 p.m. I realized two saxophones weren't in their cases and I sprinted back through the dim storefronts toward the parking lot behind Steamtown. I retraced my steps, but they weren't there, and the chilly air and blinking streetlights reminded me how much I rely on them. One is a silver alto with a small dent near the bell, the other a tenor with a unique engraving, and losing them feels like losing part of my sound and my story. I'm anxious about my gigs next week and hopeful they’ll surface soon.

Lost Avians near Steamtown, Scranton

I am the owner of two pet birds I affectionately call my Avians. They slipped from their cage Friday around 6:15 PM near Steamtown National Historic Site in Scranton while I was tidying up after visitors. They’re small, bright green with tiny yellow patches and love to chatter when the light hits the cage. I’m desperate to have them back and keep replaying every corner of the Steamtown area in my head, hoping they’re somewhere safe and fed.

Found postcards near Steamtown, Scranton

While I was walking along Market Street around 2:45 PM on Sunday, I found a small stack of Postcards tucked under a bench near the Steamtown entrance. The cards span decades, with images of Lackawanna Railroad yards, a snow-covered Nay Aug Park, and a few handwritten notes in cursive. It seems someone collected memories here, and I can imagine these being treasured by a neighbor or a grandparent.
