I found a navy suit near Raleigh Union Station around 6:15 p.m. on Friday. It was draped over a chair by the cafe outside the main entrance, neatly pressed with a charcoal tie still attached to the pocket square. The garment bag lay on the ground nearby, almost like someone had planned a quick departure. I handed it to the station's Lost & Found, hoping the owner would surface soon. It looks like it was cared for, not left in a rush, and I hate to think of someone going from meeting to meeting without their suit. The fabric is a touch faded from rain and sweat, and there’s a faint snag along the right pocket. I misplaced my beloved oversized scarf, which is black and white with a beautiful floral pattern, while walking through the parking lot of the South Point Mall in Durham last weekend.
