Vintage coin collection in wooden display case
I lost my vintage coin collection I inherited from my grandfather yesterday around 3pm. It was tucked inside a small wooden display case with a glass lid, about 8 by 6 inches, with a red velvet lining and a tiny chip on the bottom left corner. The collection includes mostly mid-20th century US coins and a handful of foreign pieces; there’s a brass compass charm dangling from the hinge and a tiny engraving 'KC' on the front edge. I last had it near LeClaire Park along the Mississippi Riverwalk in Davenport, Quad Cities. It means a lot to me and was a family heirloom—I'd really appreciate getting it back.
Vintage Topps baseball card binder (late 80s)
I found this afternoon around 2:15 pm in the parking lot behind the RiverCenter on 3rd Street in Davenport, Quad Cities. It’s a red vinyl, 3-ring binder about 9x11 inches, stuffed with roughly 40 Topps baseball cards from the late 1980s. The cover is scuffed, and a blue rubber band is wrapped around the pages to keep them in order. Inside you can spot a mix of rookies and stars from 1987–1990, with a few cards showing creases but most are decent for a casual collector. I figured someone else might be missing this and would really want it back to complete their set.
