Leopard gecko found near Phoenix Public Library
I found a leopard gecko this afternoon around 4:15 pm near the Phoenix Public Library on Central Ave, just north of Van Buren. It’s about 3 inches long from snout to tail and has a bright yellow base color with orange-red spots along its back. The tail looks slightly regrown with a light patch at the tip, and there’s a pale scar on its belly that’s pretty distinctive. It seemed healthy and warm in the sun, but I’m sure it belongs to someone who’s missing a pet — I’d hate for it to get stressed out in the heat. I was walking Milo, my 2-year-old beagle mix, yesterday around 3pm at Steele Indian School Park, near the dog park off Indian School Rd and 3rd Ave, when his blue nylon collar slipped from his neck. The collar is a medium size, blue with a reflective strip, and it has a tiny red paw charm plus a small silver tag engraved with 'MILO' and my phone number. It's a bit worn but still sturdy, and Milo is a rescue who wears it every day; losing it feels like I lost a part of him. If you found it, shoot me a message so I can swing by and pick it up.

I found a tiny hamster this afternoon around 4:15pm near the Phoenix Zoo in Papago Park, by the carousel area. It’s about four inches long, with golden-brown fur, a white belly, and a bright blue ribbon tied around its neck. The little guy seemed curious but a bit skittish, eyes bright as I offered a sunflower seed. There’s a small white crescent patch on its left ear and a faint scar on its right hind leg—enough to ID him if someone recognizes these features. I lost my blue Ruffwear Front Range harness, size M, yesterday around 3pm near the Burton Barr Central Library on Central Ave in downtown Phoenix. It's blue with lime-green reflective piping and a tiny white scuff on the left strap from last week. There’s a small paw-print ID tag attached with my phone number and my dog's name, Scout. This harness is the one she tolerates best during walks and training, so it’s really important to me to get it back—it has sentimental value and I honestly miss seeing her light up when we put it on. I found a small brown dog, probably a Chihuahua mix, near Steele Indian School Park in Phoenix yesterday afternoon. The dog seems friendly and well cared for. It has a red collar with a Tag on it, but there's no name or phone number. I've been taking care of him since he came to me, but I really hope to find his owner soon.
