I last saw it Sunday afternoon around 4:30, hanging above the couch. The piece is a 30-by-40 inch abstract with swirling blues and coral, in a slim black frame, with a tiny dent along the bottom edge. It is a personal piece from a local artist that reminds me of sunny mornings on the Lake Worth shoreline. I am anxious but hopeful that someone picked it up and means to return it. If you have seen it near Clematis Street or the surrounding blocks, please keep an eye out for it.
On Saturday at 7:15 p.m., I realized I had lost my travel adapters after I’d stepped out of the Town Center at Boca Raton in Palm Beach County. The adapters are small and black with a blue USB-C plug, and one corner is nicked from a backpack buckle. FOUND: I found these USB drives this morning, around 9:15 a.m., in the parking lot behind Town Center at Boca Raton on Glades Road, near the east entrance. They’re three drives tucked in a small black plastic case. I don’t know what’s on them, but they looked like they held work or school files, possibly important. I tucked the case away to keep them safe and figure the rightful owner would want them back. It’s a reminder how a small object can carry a big chunk of someone’s day.
