Lost CDs near Cannery Row, Monterey Bay
I was strolling along Cannery Row near Fisherman’s Wharf around 8:30 PM last Friday when I realized my CDs were missing from my tote. They are a slim black jewel case with a few indie records and a handwritten track list on the back. I must have dropped them somewhere along the busy waterfront as I paused to take a photo of the sunset over the Monterey Bay. One of the discs holds a recording of a song my grandmother loved, so this loss hits extra hard. If you found them, I would be grateful to reunite them with their owner.
Blue paperback travel guide with sea motif
I lost my blue paperback travel guide to the California coast yesterday around 3pm near the Monterey Bay Aquarium on Cannery Row. It's a 200-page paperback with a light coffee stain along the bottom edge and a small wave sticker on the cover. Inside, there's a dog-eared page about the 17-Mile Drive and a loose yellow sticky note with my name and a contact number. It has sentimental value—my grandmother gave it to me, and I really need it back. If you found it, drop me a line; I’d be grateful to meet somewhere convenient, maybe at the Fisherman’s Wharf information booth.
Blue Penguin paperback found near Cannery Row
I found this blue Penguin Books edition paperback this afternoon around 1:45pm in the parking lot behind the Monterey Bay Aquarium on Cannery Row. It’s a 320-page mystery novel, cover creased and spine a bit worn, with a coffee ring on the back. Inside the front cover there’s a handwritten note in blue ink that reads 'For Mia, enjoy!' and a small yellow star sticker on the first blank page. The edges show slight yellowing, and there’s a faint sea air scent—clearly loved and read many times. If the owner recognizes these details, I’d really like to help get it back to them.
Blue Penguin Classics travel memoir found near Cannery Row
I found this blue Penguin Classics travel memoir this morning around 10:15 am along the Monterey Bay Coastal Trail by Cannery Row, near the overlook by the old fish pier. It's a 5x8 inch hardcover, cobalt blue cover with a faded white title on the spine, about an inch thick and in good read-condition—slight edge wear but solid. Inside, a bright green seashell-shaped bookmark sits between pages, and there's a dog-eared note tucked in the back of the front cover. I also spotted a crumpled Seabreeze Café receipt on the inside cover with the name 'Emma' scrawled in blue ink. Looks well-loved; I’d love to help reunite it with its owner.
