I was strolling along Cannery Row near Fisherman’s Wharf around 8:30 PM last Friday when I realized my CDs were missing from my tote. They are a slim black jewel case with a few indie records and a handwritten track list on the back. I must have dropped them somewhere along the busy waterfront as I paused to take a photo of the sunset over the Monterey Bay. One of the discs holds a recording of a song my grandmother loved, so this loss hits extra hard. If you found them, I would be grateful to reunite them with their owner.
Yesterday around 3pm I misplaced my contact lens case in the Monterey Bay area, specifically around the Monterey Bay Aquarium on Cannery Row. It's a small, clear plastic case with a bright blue lid and a tiny crack on the hinge; the label inside has my initials 'PK'. I wear contacts daily and I really need it back so I can see clearly, and I worry about mixing up solutions. If you found it, you can reach me at [email protected] to arrange a pickup or drop-off.
I found a hand-painted ceramic vase this afternoon around 1:45pm on Cannery Row, just outside the Monterey Bay Aquarium gift shop. It is about 10 inches tall, glossy white with a cobalt blue wave motif and a small gold leaf detail near the rim. There is a small chip on the rim and a faded signature on the bottom that reads 'M. Ito 2017'. It is in good condition overall, no cracks, and I picked it up because I thought someone might be worried about it. If you recognize it, please reach out—I would love to reunite it with its owner.
I found a black leather tote this afternoon around 4:15pm on Cannery Row, right outside the Monterey Bay Aquarium gift shop. It's a compact tote, about 12 inches wide and 9 inches tall, with a gold zipper and a red interior lining that keeps the stuff easy to spot. The strap is adjustable, and there's a small enamel seahorse pin on the zipper pull plus a tiny initials tag reading 'KP' on the inside pocket. Bag is in decent shape, only a couple scuffs. If someone recognizes it, I’d like to help get it back to you.
I found a leopard gecko this afternoon around 2:15 pm, hiding under a bench along Cannery Row near the Monterey Bay Aquarium. It’s about 4 inches long from snout to tail, with a sandy-yellow body and bright orange spots, and a chunky, healthy tail. There’s a small blue crescent-shaped mark on its left flank and a tiny white scar near the base of the tail—two easy identifying features. I didn’t see any microchip, and it seems a bit stressed but otherwise in good shape. If this belongs to someone, I’d love to help reunite you—this little guy deserves a warm home.
I lost my gold-tone bracelet yesterday around 3pm near Fisherman's Wharf on Cannery Row in Monterey Bay. It's a slim 6.5-inch bracelet with a small enamel turtle charm in teal and lime, plus a tiny heart charm. The inside of the clasp is engraved with the initials 'PP'. It was a gift from my grandmother and has a lot of sentimental value—I really need it back. It's a bit scuffed from daily wear, but still shines. If anyone found it, please email me at [email protected] so we can arrange a pickup near the Monterey Bay Aquarium or the marina.
