Sunburst Pearl snare drum with sticks
I found a sunburst Pearl snare drum, 14x5 inches, with chrome hardware and a few light scratches along the shell. It was in the parking lot behind the Mattoon Public Library on Broadway Ave this afternoon around 2:30 pm. There are Vic Firth 5A sticks tucked inside the snare and a faded sticker on the bottom hoop that says 'Jazz Band 7-3'—that should help ID the owner. The drum looks well-loved but playable; if you’re missing it, I’d be glad to help get it back, perhaps meet up near the library.
Black Yamaha snare drum with sticks
I found a black Yamaha snare drum, 14x5.5 inches, with chrome hardware and a glossy finish this afternoon around 3:45pm. It was tucked behind a bench near the Mattoon Public Library on Lincoln Avenue, by the bike racks outside the coffee shop. The shell has a few light scratches and there’s a red Yamaha sticker near the throw-off; two drumsticks lay beside it - one Vic Firth 5A with a worn tip and one blue-painted maple stick that's chipped. It looks playable and in decent condition. If this belongs to someone, we can meet up at the library's front steps to arrange a quick return.
Lost vintage dark wood finish snare drum near the community center park in Mattoon-Charleston.
I accidentally left my son’s vintage snare drum at the park near the community center in Mattoon-Charleston while we were having a family picnic. It’s a dark wood finish with some wear and tear but has significant sentimental value to us. If anyone finds it, I would greatly appreciate it if you could reach out. Thank you!
