Gold ring with initials and ruby
I was in the Mattoon-Charleston area yesterday around 3pm and I must have dropped this ring somewhere near the Mattoon Town Square, probably by the Bank on 6th Street. It's a gold ring, about a size 6, with a small ruby and a subtle brushed finish. The inner band is engraved with 'M.K.' and there's a tiny scratch along the outside edge—easy to identify. It means the world to me because it was a gift from my grandmother, and I’m really hoping to get it back.
Silver-tone ring found near Coles County Courthouse
I found a slim silver-tone ring this afternoon near the Coles County Courthouse in downtown Charleston, in the Mattoon-Charleston area. It's roughly a size 6, with a tiny cubic zirconia stone set in a four-prong head, and the band has a brushed finish. The inside is stamped "925" and bears the initials "L.S." for a potential owner. The ring is in good condition aside from a few micro-scratches, and I'm hoping to reunite it with its person—please reach out if this sounds like yours.
