Black leather briefcase with brass latch
I'm hoping someone found my black Briggs & Riley leather briefcase with a brass latch. I last saw it yesterday around 3pm outside the Mattoon Public Library on S 9th Street; it's a 14-inch laptop briefcase with a small scratch on the lower corner. Inside there's a red microfiber laptop sleeve and a brass name plate that says 'M. Harper'. It was a gift from my dad, and there are some family notes and a few career sketches in the pocket, so it really matters to me. If you found it, I'd be so grateful to get it back.
Tan Coach leather briefcase with red interior
I lost my tan Coach leather briefcase yesterday around 3pm near the CVS on Main Street in Mattoon-Charleston. It's a medium-sized briefcase with a brass clasp and a noticeable scuff on the bottom left corner. The interior has a bright red lining and a detachable shoulder strap with a worn leather pad. Inside there's a 13-inch laptop sleeve, a notebook, and a USB drive labeled "Q3 Projects". It has sentimental value because it was a gift from my mentor, and I really need it back.
Grey canvas tote bag with red strap
I lost my grey canvas tote bag yesterday around 3pm near the coffee shop on Main Street in Mattoon-Charleston. It's about 14 inches tall, with a bright red adjustable strap and a brass zipper pull that has a tiny eagle charm. Inside there's a weathered notebook, a black wallet with my initials, and a pink highlighter in the front pocket—nothing super valuable, but the bag itself is my daily carry and it has sentimental value because it's a gift from my grandmother. I retraced steps from the bookstore to the bus stop by the library, but I can't find it. If anyone found it, please reach out; I really need it back.
Found black leather briefcase on the sidewalk by the Mattoon-Charleston bridge with papers inside.
I found a black leather briefcase on the sidewalk by the Mattoon-Charleston bridge. It looked like it had been there for a while, and it was slightly worn but still in good condition. There are some papers inside with a name on them, which suggests it might belong to a local businessperson. If you think this could be yours, please reach out so we can arrange to get it back to you.
