Yesterday around 3pm I realized my Yamaha student violin was missing. It’s a dark walnut, medium-sized instrument in a black hard case with a red plush interior. There’s a tiny chip on the chin rest and a faint scratch along the lower bout. Inside the lid is a handwritten label with my initials 'PP' and a small star sticker on the inside that I always kept there. It has sentimental value—my grandmother gave it to me, and I really need it back for upcoming auditions. It’s a dreadnought with a natural sunburst finish, a slightly worn pickguard, and a bright blue strap with a panda sticker attached. There’s a small dent on the back near the strap button, and the guitar case has a photo of my late grandmother taped inside the lid. This guitar is sentimental to me—it was a gift from my grandfather, and I really need it back to keep playing and remember him.
