Yesterday around 3pm I realized my Yamaha student violin was missing. It’s a dark walnut, medium-sized instrument in a black hard case with a red plush interior. There’s a tiny chip on the chin rest and a faint scratch along the lower bout. Inside the lid is a handwritten label with my initials 'PP' and a small star sticker on the inside that I always kept there. It has sentimental value—my grandmother gave it to me, and I really need it back for upcoming auditions. I found a small black 25-key MIDI controller this morning around 10:15am near the bus stop by Bronson Park on West Michigan Ave, downtown Kalamazoo. It’s a Novation Launchkey Mini with blue backlit pads, a slightly worn white label along the top edge, and a USB-C port. The case has a few cosmetic scratches from travel, but the keys and pads respond well. If the owner recognizes the distinctive blue pads or the Launchkey logo, I’d be glad to meet somewhere convenient in downtown Kalamazoo to hand it back.

I was practicing yesterday around 3pm near Bronson Park in downtown Kalamazoo when I realized my sunburst Yamaha FG800 acoustic guitar was missing. It’s a dreadnought with a natural sunburst finish, a slightly worn pickguard, and a bright blue strap with a panda sticker attached. There’s a small dent on the back near the strap button, and the guitar case has a photo of my late grandmother taped inside the lid. This guitar is sentimental to me—it was a gift from my grandfather, and I really need it back to keep playing and remember him.
