Golden hamster found near Walmart on Grand Caillou Rd

I found a golden-brown Syrian hamster this afternoon around 2:15pm in the Walmart parking lot on Grand Caillou Road in Houma. It was wandering near the cart return, sniffing around a blue PetPals plastic travel cage with a small metal water bottle. The hamster is about 3 inches long, with a white belly and a small white heart-shaped patch on its chest. Its fur is a little dusty from being outside, but it seems healthy overall. The left ear has a tiny notch, and there is a faint scar on its right hind leg I noticed while I checked for injuries.
