Golden hamster found near Walmart on Grand Caillou Rd
I found a golden-brown Syrian hamster this afternoon around 2:15pm in the Walmart parking lot on Grand Caillou Road in Houma. It was wandering near the cart return, sniffing around a blue PetPals plastic travel cage with a small metal water bottle. The hamster is about 3 inches long, with a white belly and a small white heart-shaped patch on its chest. Its fur is a little dusty from being outside, but it seems healthy overall. The left ear has a tiny notch, and there is a faint scar on its right hind leg I noticed while I checked for injuries. It clearly looks like someone's pet, and I would like to help reunite it with its person. If this is yours, message me and we can set up a quick, safe meetup in downtown Houma.

I found a lutino cockatiel this afternoon around 3:30pm in the parking lot behind the Houma Civic Center on Grand Caillou Road. It's bright yellow with gray wings and orange cheek patches, about 12 inches from beak to tail, and it wears a blue leg band with the code HT-472. The bird seemed calm and hungry, perched on my car antenna for a few minutes before hopping to a nearby palm tree near the entrance. It looks well cared for, not wild, and I’d love to help reunite it with its owner—please reach out if you know this bird.

I found a small, bright green parakeet flapping around my backyard in Houma. It has a yellowish beak and some light blue feathers on its wings. Lost small green tree frog with faint yellow spots in backyard in Houma.
I lost a small green tree frog while taking a stroll in my backyard in Houma. It was a little over 3 inches long and had bright green skin with some faint yellow spots. I didn't notice it was gone until I returned inside and heard it croaking from somewhere. If anyone sees it, please let me know!
