Found parakeet: small green bird with red leg band
I found a small green parakeet this afternoon around 2:15pm near Lindley Park on Yanceyville Street in Greensboro. The bird is palm-sized with a bright green body, a yellow head, and a blue-tinted tail. It wears a bright red leg band engraved with 'K-37,' and the cage door bears a SunBird sticker. It hopped onto my finger and pecked at millet, and I know someone in Greensboro is probably missing a bird like this; if this is yours, drop a note here and we can arrange a safe meetup.
Gray tabby with white paws, missing near Friendly Center
I lost my gray tabby cat named Niko yesterday around 3pm. He's small-to-medium, short-haired, with a gray tabby pattern, white chest, and white socks on his paws, and he wears a blue collar with a tiny silver bell. He has a bright green eye and a notch in his left ear. I last saw him near the Starbucks at the Friendly Center on Battleground Ave in Greensboro; he’s a rescue and means the world to my daughter, so I’m really worried and grateful for any sighting or safe return.
Golden hamster with white chest patch
I lost my golden Syrian hamster yesterday around 3pm. He's a tiny guy, about the size of a ping-pong ball, with fluffy golden fur and a distinct white patch on his chest. He wears a tiny blue collar with a silver bell, and his cage has a bright purple wheel and a blue water bottle. I had him with me near the Greensboro Coliseum Complex, around West Gate City Boulevard, but he slipped away while I was packing up after a family visit to Tanger Family Bicentennial Garden. He's the light of our home and really means a lot to us; we are worried sick and would be grateful to get him back.
Lost blue parakeet named Sky with a small yellow leg ring near the park by Elm Street in Greensboro.
I lost my beloved blue parakeet, named Sky, near the park by Elm Street in Greensboro on Saturday afternoon. She is very friendly and might have flown to a nearby tree or someone’s backyard. Please help me find her; she has a small yellow ring on her leg and responds to her name.
