Lost belts in Greensboro, NC
I was at Center City Park in Greensboro, North Carolina around 6:00 PM yesterday when I realized my black leather belts were gone after helping unload supplies for a neighborhood event. The belts are two: one has a small tear near the buckle; the other has a patch of worn stitching along the edge. They’re part of my daily work gear and carrying them feels like carrying a little piece of home. If you found them somewhere near Center City Park, I’d be grateful to know they’re still around in Greensboro.
Lost chokers in Greensboro near Center City Park
On Tuesday at 4:20 PM I realized my chokers were missing after a walk through Center City Park in Greensboro, near South Elm Street and the greenway. I had them tucked in a small velvet pouch, and they felt like a piece of home I wear for good luck. The late-afternoon light caught on the chains as I paused by the fountain, and now I ache to have them back. Found coins in Greensboro, North Carolina
I found a small pile of coins by Center City Park on Market Street in Greensboro at 11:15 AM on May 3. The assortment ranged from dusty pennies to a shiny old quarter, with a few foreign coins mixed in. Found postcards on a Greensboro bench near Center City Park.
I found these postcards this morning around 11:15 AM on a wooden bench outside the Greensboro Public Library, near Center City Park on West Market Street. The cards are a mix of vintage views of Greensboro and a few stamps that hint at a recent trip. One card has a handwritten note on the back about a photo walk I can almost picture someone taking in the summer heat. They feel loved, slightly worn, with a crease along the corner and a finger mark on the back. I kept them safe in my bag, hoping the owner will see this post and recognize their memories here on the site.
Lost radios near LeBauer Park, Greensboro
On Friday night, around 7:45 p.m., I realized these two radios had disappeared from my blue tote after a small street fair near LeBauer Park in downtown Greensboro. One is a compact black radio with a chrome dial; the other a gray radio with a simple wooden case. I’d tucked them into the bag while browsing vendor tables, and when I turned back, they were gone. They feel like a piece of family history to me, and I hope whoever found them can understand their value.
Lost shoes near Four Seasons Town Centre
I realized I left my shoes outside the Four Seasons Town Centre in Greensboro, North Carolina, around 6:12 p.m. on Friday after a quick run. They are a pair of black running sneakers with white soles and a small tear on the left toe. I retraced my steps through the parking lot and past the entrance, but they didn't turn up. I'm anxious and missing them already, hoping someone who found them will bring them back to the site.
LOST: Travel Visas in Greensboro, North Carolina
On Friday at 2:15 p.m., I was sitting outside the Greensboro Public Library on South Elm Street, sipping a latte, when I must have set my travel visas down and walked away. The blue folder with my name in bold is all-important—inside are visas and other travel documents I need for an upcoming trip. I retraced steps through the nearby cafe, bookstore, and sidewalk, but the wind and crowds swallowed any trace. I’m anxious about making plans without them and would be grateful for any luck in returning them.
Found a litter of puppies near the Greensboro Coliseum
I was walking along Gate City Boulevard near the Greensboro Coliseum Complex around 6:15 PM yesterday when I heard whimpers from beneath a shrub. A small brown-and-black litter peeked out, eyes wide with fear, and they looked hungry. I scooped them into a spare tote from my car and offered water from my bottle while I waited with them. A nearby security guard helped me bring the pups to the front desk of a local business, where I hoped their family would claim them soon.
Found paintings in Greensboro, NC
I found them lying on the ground behind Red Stone Café on Elm Street, around 7:30 p.m. last Thursday, near Center City Park in Greensboro, NC. They’re wrapped in clear plastic, with a small coffee ring on the corner of one frame and a faint fingerprint on the glass. These paintings look like they were made with care, and I can only imagine how anxious the owner must be. I want to do the right thing and help get them back to the rightful owner as soon as possible.

Found carry-ons outside Greensboro Station
I found two carry-ons outside Greensboro Station at 9:15 a.m. on Monday, while I was heading to catch the morning train. One is a red rolling suitcase with a faded family-trip tag, the other a black carry-on with a dented handle. They were sitting on the curb near the Amtrak entrance, unattended since dawn. I kept an eye on them and brought them to the station's lost-and-found desk so they could be reunited with their owner. I can only imagine how stressful it must be to lose luggage while traveling.
Lost: Holiday decorations with memories
On Saturday around 7:40 p.m., I realized my holiday decorations were missing from the front porch of my apartment on West Market Street in Greensboro. The box included warm-white string lights, a glittery snowflake garland, and a wreath my grandmother helped make. I had just finished trimming the porch lights and stepped inside for cocoa when I heard the door creak and saw the light go out. These decorations mean a lot to me and remind me of Christmases with family in Greensboro. If you saw them or moved them by mistake, please let me know through the site.

I found equipment for various sports lying unattended near Lindley Park in Greensboro around 6:45 PM yesterday.
