Lost Sheet Music near Elm Street Greensboro
Yesterday afternoon around 3:40 p.m., I stepped out of the Green Bean Cafe on Elm Street with a blue spiral-bound sheet music folder, and I must have dropped it somewhere near the Greensboro Historical Museum steps. The cover has my name scrawled in pencil, and inside are pieces I’ve practiced for weeks for an upcoming recital. Those sheets are irreplaceable to me, and I’m hoping someone picked them up and left them somewhere obvious. I’m feeling a mix of frustration and relief at the possibility that they’re simply waiting to be reclaimed near the cafe or on Elm Street, by the museum.
Sunburst Fender Stratocaster with sticker
I lost my sunburst Fender Stratocaster yesterday around 3pm in the parking lot behind the Four Seasons Town Centre on Battleground Ave in Greensboro. It's a standard Strat with a white pickguard and a rosewood fretboard, and it has a small rocket sticker on the back plus a bright blue strap with white stars. There are a couple of light scratches along the lower bout. It was a gift from my dad, so it means a lot to me and I really need it back. Silver Gemeinhardt flute with dented headjoint
I lost my silver Gemeinhardt 2SP flute yesterday around 3pm near the Greensboro Coliseum Complex on West Lee Street. It’s in a black hard case with a blue interior and a small blue recital sticker on the lid. The flute itself is in decent playing shape, but there’s a tiny dent on the headjoint and an engraving 'AK' on the lip plate that should help identify it. It means a lot to me—this instrument has gotten me through dozens of recitals and was a gift from my grandmother—and I really hope it turns up before my audition next week. I found this red tambourine this afternoon around 2:15pm in the parking lot behind the International Civil Rights Center & Museum on S Elm St, Greensboro. It's an 8-inch tambourine with a bright plastic shell and shiny silver jingles that still ring when bumped. On the back there's a small sticker with a smiling sun and a few scuffs along the rim from years of play. It looks like someone uses it for practice or small gigs, and I figured it might belong to someone who really misses it. I’d love to help reunite it with its owner.
