It's a small, palm-sized watch with a cracked glass face and a thin silver chain. The back is engraved with the initials 'J.S.' and there's a tiny decorative pattern along the edge. The watch looks a little worn but still ticks when I wind it, and I imagine it matters to someone—maybe it was a gift or holds a memory.
