Lost holiday decorations after neighborhood block party
I spent Friday evening helping decorate the block near Sunset Park on West Franklin Street in Evansville, Indiana. After we wrapped up around 7:40 p.m., I loaded the garland, string lights, and a red Santa hat into a green storage tote and headed to my car. When I got home, I realized the tote hadn't made it into the back seat—it's possible I left it behind somewhere along West Franklin Street by Sunset Park. The tote is a sturdy Rubbermaid with a dented lid and a faded 'Patricia’s Decorations' label. Those decorations are sentimental, and I’m hoping they turn up soon.

Leather wallet brown with an hour glass shape carved into the back.
Found: Concert tickets and backstage passes near Evansville riverfront
Found a pair of concert tickets and a purple backstage pass this afternoon around 4:15pm in the parking lot behind the Ford Center on Riverside Drive in Evansville. The tickets are white with electric blue borders, standard two-stub style, for a local indie band called Midnight Echo performing that night. They list Section GA, Row 5, Seats 42 and 43; one ticket has a small coffee ring near the corner and a blue star sticker by the barcode. The pair also includes a purple lanyard with a detachable pass that reads 'Backstage Pass' in white and has a tiny holographic dragon sticker. Lanyard is a bit frayed at the clip but the whole set is intact. If this might be yours, reach me at [email protected].
Found silver Dell laptop with pink sticker
I found a silver Dell laptop this morning around 9:15am in the parking lot behind the Evansville Central Library on Library Plaza near Main Street. The lid has a pink heart sticker and there’s a small coffee stain near the palm rest. It boots up to Windows and shows a lock screen with a wallpaper that hints it’s someone’s work or school device, so I’m hoping to get it back to its owner quickly. The charger is in the bag with it, a black brick with a frayed cord. If this belongs to you, please reach out with a photo of the lock screen wallpaper or the pink sticker so I can arrange a safe pickup.
Leopard gecko, yellow with brown spots, lost
Category: Reptiles & Amphibians. I lost my leopard gecko yesterday around 3pm near the Walmart on Burkhardt Road in Evansville. It's about 6 inches long, yellow-tan with irregular brown spots and a bright orange tail tip, and it has a small crescent-shaped scar on its belly from a minor fall last month. I’m really worried—this gecko was a gift from my daughter and means a lot to us; if you find it, please email [email protected].
Blue plush dinosaur with orange spots
I lost my daughter's blue plush dinosaur named Rex yesterday around 3pm near the Garvin Park playground on Garvin Ave in Evansville. It's about 12 inches tall, soft blue fleece with bright orange spots and a white stitched belly. It wears a red ribbon around its neck and has a small stitch repair on the left ear; the right leg has a tiny fray. It's sentimental—she's had it since she learned to say 'Rex' and she really misses it. If you found it, please reach out; we'd be so grateful to get it back.
Navy Jansport backpack with lime zippers
I found a navy Jansport backpack this morning around 7:45am near the Riverfront pedestrian bridge by Main Street and Riverside in Evansville. The bag is in decent shape with a few scuffs on the bottom and those lime-green zipper pulls that make it easy to spot. There’s a small enamel pin on the strap—a bear riding a bicycle—and a red silicone guitar-shaped keychain on the main pocket zipper. Inside the front pocket I spotted a folded notebook, a blue rain poncho, and a university sticker reading 'Trailblazers.' If this sounds like yours, drop me a note with a distinguishing feature and I’ll put you in touch to arrange pickup.
14k gold-tone necklace with emerald pendant
Yesterday around 3pm I lost my 14k gold-tone necklace outside the Tropicana Evansville on Riverside Drive by the riverfront. It's a delicate 18-inch chain with a small emerald pendant shaped like a leaf, and there's a tiny scratch near the clasp that makes it easy to identify. It was a gift from my grandmother and has sentimental value, so I’m really hoping it turns up. If anyone found it, please reach me at [email protected]; I’d be so grateful to get it back.
Small black metronome with red dial
Found a compact metronome this afternoon around 3:15pm in Evansville's Riverfront Park, near the pedestrian bridge on Riverside Drive. It's a small black plastic metronome about the size of a matchbox, with a bright red dial and a clear plastic window. The base has a tiny scratch and a faint stamp that might read 'Korg' on the bottom. It was sitting on a bench near a guitar case, and I left it there so the owner can spot it easily or I can meet up to hand it over. I know how important a reliable metronome is for practice, and I want to help reunite it with its owner.
Nike swim trunks with neon trim
I found a pair of Nike swim trunks this afternoon around 4pm, tucked behind a green trash can near the parking lot behind the Tropicana Evansville on Riverside Drive. They’re black with a neon lime-green drawstring and a big white Nike swoosh on the left leg. Size looks like L, with a small Nike tag in the waistband that says 'Nike Swim Pro'. There’s a faint chlorine stain on the inner lining and a tiny pull on the back pocket, but otherwise they’re in decent shape. If these belong to someone, I’d love to help get them back to their owner—I’m around the riverfront area most evenings and can meet up near the front entrance of the Tropicana.
Black Samsung tablet with blue case
I found a black Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1-inch this afternoon around 3:15pm in the parking lot behind the Tropicana Evansville on Riverside Drive. It’s in a blue silicone case with a tiny triangle sticker on the front, and the back has engraved initials 'MK'. The tablet looks well cared for, screen is responsive and free of cracks, just a couple of minor scratches along the edge. It probably belongs to someone who needs it for work or school, so I’d love to get it back to its owner. If you’re the owner, email me at [email protected] and we’ll set up a quick meetup in Evansville.
Gold ring with heart engraving and diamond
I lost my 14k yellow gold ring yesterday around 3pm near the riverfront promenade on Main Street in downtown Evansville. It's a slim 2.5mm band with a tiny diamond set in a heart-shaped bezel. The inside is engraved 'A.P. 2016' and there's a small nick on the outer edge at 3 o'clock. It was a sentimental gift from my grandmother, so I’m really hoping to get it back; it carries a lot of memories. If anyone found it, please message me—I'm really hoping to be reunited with it.
Found silver watch with black strap
Found a watch this morning around 7:30am near Riverfront Park, at the corner of Main Street and Riverside Drive in Evansville. It's a silver stainless steel case with a black leather strap, about 40mm, in good condition with a few light scratches on the bezel. There's an engraving on the back that reads 'A.J. 92' and a small red thread looped through the buckle. This watch looks like it belonged to someone who cares about it; I'm hoping to reunite it with its owner. If this is yours, I can hold onto it until we figure out the best way to return it.
Found gray tote bag with red strap and stickers
Found a gray tote bag this afternoon around 3:15pm along the riverfront near the Tropicana Evansville on Riverside Drive. It’s a medium-sized canvas tote, roughly 14x16 inches, with a bright red adjustable strap and a zip-top closure. The exterior has a few scuffs and a small sticker on the front pocket that says 'Studio 412'. Inside, there’s a pink unicorn keychain clipped to the zipper and a spiral notebook with doodles. I picked it up because it was sitting unattended by the bike racks and figured someone might be worried about it, so I’m posting here in case the owner sees it. If this is yours, message me here with the distinguishing details like the 'Studio 412' sticker or the unicorn keychain, and we can arrange a meet-up near the riverfront or at the Tropicana.
Black Wilson tennis racket with neon grip
I lost my black Wilson tennis racket yesterday around 3pm near the Ford Center on Main Street in downtown Evansville. It's a Wilson Blade 98, mostly black with a neon-green grip wrap and a small white scuff on the throat where the logo is. The strings are still tight and the grip is a bit loose from daily practice. This racket has sentimental value because it was a gift from my high school coach after a big season, and I really need it back for upcoming matches. If anyone found it, please drop me a note—I'd be grateful to get it back.
