Blue Penguin Classics pocket paperback, well-thumbed
I lost my blue Penguin Classics pocket paperback yesterday around 3pm. It's a small pocket-sized book, about A6, with a bright blue cover and a creased spine from years of use. The back cover has a faint coffee stain and a green ribbon bookmark with a tiny brass compass charm poking out. I was sitting outside Waterstones on Princes Street, near the tram stop, and wandered toward Waverley Station, but I must have dropped it somewhere along the sidewalk between the shop doorway and the Scott Monument steps. This book is sentimental to me; it was a gift from my grandmother, and I'd really love to get it back.

I found a red paperback mystery this afternoon around 2:45pm, lying on the pavement near the Scott Monument on Princes Street, Edinburgh. It’s a roughly 350-page thriller, paperback with a creased spine and a slightly faded red cover. Inside, there’s a blue ribbon bookmark with a tiny fox emblem peeking out from page 112, and a small coffee stain on the back cover. It's a small metal body, matte black, about the size of my pinky finger, with a tiny green dragon sticker on the back and a faint scratch along the top edge. It holds family photos and some work presentations, so it’s got real sentimental value and I’d really appreciate getting it back. I lost a box containing my vintage comic book collection while traveling through Edinburgh last week. It includes several first editions from the 1980s, particularly a Spider-Man and a Batman number one. The box is dark blue and was last seen near the East Princes Street Gardens. If anyone finds it, I would be incredibly grateful to have it returned, as it holds a lot of sentimental value.

I've misplaced my copy of 'The Catcher in the Rye' while visiting the Edinburgh Book Festival last weekend. I last remember having it while sitting at a café near the venue. The book has my name written on the inside cover, and it means a lot to me as it's a gift from my late grandmother.
