LOST Wall Art near Pappajohn Sculpture Park, Des Moines
I LOST my wall art after the Des Moines Arts Festival last Friday, around 6:40 p.m., on Grand Avenue in Des Moines, Iowa. The piece is a medium-sized canvas with teal and copper swirls, in a light wood frame. I had just finished chatting with a friend near the Pappajohn Sculpture Park and stepped away for a moment to grab water, and when I looked back it was gone from the display wall. It felt personal, like a small piece of my recent studio work slipped away with the crowd. If anyone saw something or tucked it somewhere safe, I’d be grateful for any word through the site.
Found utensils near Court Avenue, Des Moines.
I was strolling along the Des Moines Riverwalk near Court Avenue around 2:15 PM today when I spotted a neat set of stainless utensils tucked behind a planter by the water. I picked them up, brushed off a few leaves, and scanned for an owner, but no one appeared. The forks and knives looked recently used, and I’m sure they belong to someone who loves to cook after a long day. I’m posting this to help reunite them with their kitchen—hopefully the rightful owner sees this soon.
DeWalt 20V cordless drill in yellow case
I lost my yellow DeWalt 20V cordless drill in a black and yellow hard case yesterday around 3pm near Drake University on University Ave at 25th St in Des Moines. It's the compact XR model, about 7 inches long, with a scuffed grip and a small dent near the chuck. The battery is a gray 20V XR with a blue label, and the case has my initials 'PN' on a circular sticker. This drill is my go-to for home repairs and projects, and it's really needed back because it's essential for finishing up a few ongoing repairs. If anyone found it, please drop it off or pm me; I’d be incredibly grateful.
Cream duvet cover with navy piping
I lost my queen-size cream duvet cover with navy piping yesterday around 3pm. It was hanging on the back of my bedroom door after I did a quick wash in the laundry room of my apartment building off Grand Ave in Des Moines. The fabric is soft cotton with a tiny navy monogram 'SB' stitched in the inside corner. It was a gift from my mom and it means a lot to me, so I'm really hoping someone picked it up and can return it.
