I lost my rose-gold pendant necklace yesterday around 3pm. I was wandering through downtown Des Moines near the Pappajohn Sculpture Park along Grand Avenue after grabbing a coffee, when I realized it wasn’t on my neck anymore. The necklace is about 16 inches long, rose-gold plated, with a small heart pendant. The back is engraved with the initials 'JP' and the lobster clasp has a tiny etched leaf on the end. It’s a gift from my grandmother and means the world to me, so I’d really appreciate getting it back if someone found it near the sculpture park or along Grand Ave. Thanks for keeping an eye out!
I lost my grey tabby Milo yesterday around 3pm. He's a medium-sized domestic shorthair with a grey striped coat and a white patch on his chest. He wears a light blue collar with a tiny silver bell, and there's a small notch in his left ear that makes him easy to identify. He tends to be skittish around strangers but he's incredibly affectionate once he warms up, which is why I'm really worried. I last saw him near the East Village coffee shop on 5th Street and Grand Avenue in Des Moines; he bolted when I opened the door to grab the mail. If you spot him, please text or call me—we're really hoping to bring him home tonight.
Big man's ring with etching. Found in a neighborhood near Merle Hay & Franklin.
I lost my navy Nike hoodie, size L, yesterday around 3pm near the Java House on Grand Ave in the East Village, Des Moines. It's a well-worn hoodie with a white Nike swoosh on the chest, soft fleece inside, and the zipper still zips smoothly, though there's a tiny snag at the bottom hem. On the right sleeve there's a small embroidered skyline of Des Moines, and inside the hood there's a faded label with my initials 'AH'. It's my go-to jacket for chilly Des Moines evenings; it has sentimental value because it was a gift from my mom last Christmas. If anyone found it, shoot me a message here—we can meet at Java House to swap.
I lost my yellow DeWalt 20V cordless drill in a black and yellow hard case yesterday around 3pm near Drake University on University Ave at 25th St in Des Moines. It's the compact XR model, about 7 inches long, with a scuffed grip and a small dent near the chuck. The battery is a gray 20V XR with a blue label, and the case has my initials 'PN' on a circular sticker. This drill is my go-to for home repairs and projects, and it's really needed back because it's essential for finishing up a few ongoing repairs. If anyone found it, please drop it off or pm me; I’d be incredibly grateful.
I lost my keys yesterday around 3pm near the Starbucks on Locust Street in Des Moines' East Village. It's a small brass house key set on a blue nylon lanyard, with a red Toyota fob and a tiny compass charm attached. The lanyard is frayed at the end, and there's a yellow plastic tag labeled 'Home'. They’re a bit worn and are important to me because they open my apartment and my gym locker. If anyone finds them, please text me—I really need them back.
