Found gray hamster with blue collar
I found a tiny gray hamster with a blue collar wandering under a parked cart near the Target on Academy Boulevard in Colorado Springs this afternoon around 3:15. The little guy is grape-sized, with soft gray fur and a white belly, plus a blue collar with a tiny silver bell and a crescent-shaped white patch behind his left ear. He seemed a bit skittish at first, but settled in a spare hamster cage I keep for pet-sitting, nibbling a cucumber slice I offered. Found a red nylon dog harness this afternoon around 3:15pm in the parking lot behind the Whole Foods Market on Garden of the Gods Road, Colorado Springs. It's a medium size, bright red with reflective stitching along the chest strap and a sturdy black plastic buckle. The leash ring shows a bit of wear and there’s a small paw-print charm sewn onto the strap near the D-ring. There isn’t any name tag or contact info visible. It looks well-loved and clean overall. I lost my calico cat yesterday around 3pm near the Garden of the Gods Visitor Center in Colorado Springs. She's about 9 pounds, white chest and orange/black patches, and bright green eyes. She wears a blue nylon collar with a tiny silver paw-print tag, and there's a small notch on her left ear from a past scuffle. She's very gentle but can be skittish around new people. Last I saw, she slipped under the fence near the parking area by the Visitor Center and headed toward the red-rock trail. I adopted her last year; she's my only companion and has huge sentimental value to me. If anyone finds her, please contact me immediately—I'm really hoping to bring her home.
Leopard gecko with blue tail, 4 inches
I lost my leopard gecko yesterday around 5pm. It's a small, beige-and-brown spotted gecko about 4 inches long, with a distinctive bright blue tail. There’s a crescent-shaped scar on his right hip. I had him in a ventilated plastic terrarium inside a tote while I unloaded groceries near the Target on North Academy Boulevard in Colorado Springs, just south of I-25, yesterday afternoon. I must've left the lid loose and he slipped out. He could be hiding in the landscaping around the North Academy Target or tucked in the planters along the sidewalk by the entrance. I lost my pet green anole lizard, named Ziggy, around my backyard in Colorado Springs. He went missing last Sunday afternoon when we were outside enjoying the nice weather.
