Yellow gold ring with initials engraved
I lost my 14k yellow gold ring yesterday around 3pm near the Garden of the Gods Visitor Center parking lot in Colorado Springs. It’s a slim 6 mm band, size 6, with a small oval amethyst set in a bezel and a brushed finish. On the inside there’s a tiny engraving of 'A.K.' and a barely noticeable scratch along the outer edge. It carries sentimental value—it was my grandmother’s ring and I wore it every day. If anyone finds it, email [email protected]; I can arrange a meetup at the Visitor Center or somewhere nearby.

Brass pocket compass in leather sleeve
Found a small brass pocket compass with a dark brown leather sleeve this afternoon around 4:15 pm in the Garden of the Gods Visitor Center parking lot on Gateway Road, Colorado Springs. It's about 2 inches across, with a bit of tarnish and a couple of tiny nicks along the rim. The leather sleeve is worn but still secure, and there's a back engraving of the initials 'P.K.' plus a tiny heart-shaped scratch on the front that's pretty distinctive. The compass still ticks when you move it, like it was recently used. If this belongs to someone, I’d be happy to arrange a safe pickup here in Colorado Springs.
Found gray hamster with blue collar
I found a tiny gray hamster with a blue collar wandering under a parked cart near the Target on Academy Boulevard in Colorado Springs this afternoon around 3:15. The little guy is grape-sized, with soft gray fur and a white belly, plus a blue collar with a tiny silver bell and a crescent-shaped white patch behind his left ear. He seemed a bit skittish at first, but settled in a spare hamster cage I keep for pet-sitting, nibbling a cucumber slice I offered. If this is your hamster, please reply here so we can arrange a safe meetup near Garden of the Gods Visitor Center or another convenient spot in Colorado Springs.
Missing 28-year-old Leila Hassan near Monument Valley Park
I lost my sister Leila Hassan yesterday around 7:30pm. Last seen near Monument Valley Park off Nevada Avenue, Colorado Springs, walking toward the Colorado College campus after leaving a cafe. She's about 5'6", with shoulder-length dark curly hair, and was wearing a teal puffer jacket, black leggings, and white sneakers. She has a crescent moon tattoo on her right inner wrist and wears a pink beaded bracelet with a small silver charm. She sometimes carries a gray tote bag with a student ID inside. I'm really worried—she's getting over a cold and needs her meds. If anyone saw her or knows anything, please message me ASAP.
Maria Rivera, 22, missing near Garden of the Gods
I lost my sister, Maria Rivera, 22, yesterday around 6:15pm. She was last seen near the Garden of the Gods Visitor Center parking lot, walking toward Colorado Avenue. She's about 5'5" tall, olive skin, shoulder-length black hair, and brown eyes. She has a crescent tattoo on the inside of her left wrist and wears a silver compass pendant necklace. At the time she was wearing a red hoodie, gray denim jacket tied around her waist, black leggings, and white sneakers, carrying a green floral backpack. I'm really worried—she's usually careful and reachable by phone, but might ignore calls if distressed. If you see her, please contact me immediately; we just want to know she's safe, and she often goes by the nickname Mia with family.
Silver hoop earrings with emerald charm
I lost my silver hoop earrings with an emerald teardrop charm yesterday around 3pm near the Starbucks on Tejon Street, downtown Colorado Springs. The hoops are about 1 inch in diameter, sterling silver with a brushed finish, and one has a tiny dent near the clasp from a rough bag. The emerald charm is a small teardrop set in a delicate bezel, catching the light when I tilt my head. They feel like a small piece of home—the pair was a gift from my grandmother and I wore them for an important interview yesterday. If anyone picked them up, email me at [email protected]; I’d really appreciate getting them back.
Nike men's black swim shorts with white trim
I found a pair of Nike men's swim shorts this afternoon around 3:15pm in the parking lot behind the Downtown YMCA on Platte Avenue in Colorado Springs. They're black with a crisp white side stripe, size M, and the drawstring is bright blue. The left leg has a small bleach spot and a tiny orange carabiner clipped to the belt loop from whoever left them. I figured someone must be missing them after a swim workout or a meetup at the pool across the street, so I’m posting here in case the owner sees it soon and can claim them.
Matte black Samsonite suitcase with blue tag
I lost my matte black Samsonite rolling suitcase yesterday around 3pm near the Target on Academy Boulevard in Colorado Springs. It's a large check-in size, with a noticeable dent on the bottom-right corner and a bright blue luggage tag with a tiny sailboat sticker on the handle. Inside are clothes and a worn photo album from my grandmother - it has sentimental value and I really need it back. If anyone found it, please let me know; I can meet in the Target parking lot or nearby for a pickup.
Red dog harness with reflective stripe and paw tag
Found a red nylon dog harness this afternoon around 3:15pm in the parking lot behind the Whole Foods Market on Garden of the Gods Road, Colorado Springs. It's a medium size, bright red with reflective stitching along the chest strap and a sturdy black plastic buckle. The leash ring shows a bit of wear and there’s a small paw-print charm sewn onto the strap near the D-ring. There isn’t any name tag or contact info visible. It looks well-loved and clean overall. If this belongs to your pup, send a note with your dog's name and where you last used it and I’ll get it back to you.
Gray knit scarf with pine charm and initials
I lost my gray knit scarf yesterday around 3pm near the Starbucks on Tejon Street in downtown Colorado Springs. It's a medium-length scarf, acrylic blend, with a tiny pine-tree charm attached to the fringe and my initials stitched in light blue on one corner. It has sentimental value—it was a gift from my late grandmother and always kept me warm on chilly Colorado days. If anyone found it, I'd really appreciate getting it back; it means a lot to me.
Blue-and-white inhaler with red heart sticker
I lost my blue-and-white inhaler yesterday around 3pm outside the CVS on North Academy Boulevard, just off I-25 in Colorado Springs. It's a standard Ventolin metered-dose inhaler with a bright blue body and white cap, plus a small red heart sticker on the cap and a tiny dent near the mouthpiece. It came in a light gray soft case that’s a bit scuffed from daily use. This inhaler is essential for my asthma during workouts, and I’m really worried about a flare-up without it. If you found it, I’d be grateful to get it back—I can meet you near the CVS to pick it up, or you can drop it at the store and I’ll come to collect. Thank you so much.
Hardcover travel guide found near Star Coffee, Colorado Springs
I found a well-worn hardcover Iceland travel guide this afternoon around 3:15pm, tucked on the sidewalk in front of Star Coffee on Colorado Ave, downtown Colorado Springs. It's a standard 6x9 inch hardcover, about 1.2 inches thick, with a dusty blue cover and a yellowed dust jacket. The spine is cracked and there's a bright blue ribbon bookmark sticking out at page 127. On the inside front cover there's a small circular sticker with the initials 'AL' and a faint coffee ring on the back. It clearly belongs to someone who uses it a lot, and I figured the owner would want it back sooner rather than later.
Calico cat with blue collar near Garden of the Gods
I lost my calico cat yesterday around 3pm near the Garden of the Gods Visitor Center in Colorado Springs. She's about 9 pounds, white chest and orange/black patches, and bright green eyes. She wears a blue nylon collar with a tiny silver paw-print tag, and there's a small notch on her left ear from a past scuffle. She's very gentle but can be skittish around new people. Last I saw, she slipped under the fence near the parking area by the Visitor Center and headed toward the red-rock trail. I adopted her last year; she's my only companion and has huge sentimental value to me. If anyone finds her, please contact me immediately—I'm really hoping to bring her home.
