Leopard gecko found near NewBo Market
I found a leopard gecko this morning around 9:15 am in the parking lot behind NewBo City Market on 11th Street SE in Cedar Rapids. It's about 4 inches long, yellow with brown spots and a faint orange stripe along the back. It has a small white scar above its left eye and a slightly kinked tail. It seemed curious but a bit spooked, so I kept it in a ventilated tote with a towel and offered a little water. If this belongs to someone, I’d really love to help get it back home.

I found a bright yellow cockatiel this afternoon around 4:15pm outside the NewBo City Market on 11th Street SE in Cedar Rapids. It perched on a railing and kept calling until I offered a sunflower seed; it hopped onto my finger and seemed surprisingly friendly. The bird has orange cheek patches, a gray tail, and a small white feather snag on its left wing from a recent molt. I’m pretty sure someone’s pet is missing this feathery friend, so I’m hoping to help reunite them. I found a tan, medium-sized dog this afternoon around 4:15pm in the parking lot behind NewBo City Market on 1100 3rd St SE. It’s about 40 pounds with a short coat and a blue collar that has a silver tag reading Buddy 14. It has a small white heart-shaped patch on its chest and a tiny white spot on the left front paw. It’s super friendly, wagging its tail and listening when I called its name. I’m hoping to reunite it with its family soon—it seems well cared for and a bit anxious without its people. I lost my blue reflective dog harness yesterday around 3pm near the Cedar Rapids Public Library on 5th Ave SE. It's a medium-sized harness from the brand PupProtec, with a quick-release buckle and a paw-print charm on the buckle. The harness has reflective strips along the chest straps and a small red tag with my dog's name, Milo, printed in cursive. It was a gift from my sister and has sentimental value; Milo is anxious and the harness helps him stay safe when we walk at dusk. It's a bright electric-blue nylon harness with black trim and a reflective strip along the chest. There's a small white paw-print patch sewn onto the left shoulder strap and a red heart-shaped tag with my dog's name Milo hanging from the D-ring. Corgi mix with red collar, missing in Cedar Rapids
I was walking Milo, my beige corgi mix, when he bolted from my side yesterday afternoon around 3pm near the NewBo City Market on 13th Ave SE in Cedar Rapids. He’s about 28 pounds, with a fluffy tail that curls over his back, and he wears a bright red collar and a blue bandana with tiny white bones. There’s a white heart-shaped patch on his chest, and one ear tips just a bit. He’s microchipped and very friendly, but he can be shy around strangers. I’m really hoping to find him soon—this little guy is my hiking buddy and means the world to me.

Lost green and yellow parakeet named Kiwi near Grezy Park in Cedar Rapids.
I lost my green and yellow parakeet named Kiwi in the Cedar Rapids neighborhood near Grezy Park. She flew out of her cage while I was cleaning it and hasn’t returned home. Kiwi is very friendly and often sits on your shoulder if you call her name. If anyone sees her, please let me know.
