Lost dresses near Catskills Community Center

3:05 p.m. last Sunday, I was helping set up for a small charity event at the Catskills Community Center on Main Street in Saugerties when I discovered my dresses were nowhere to be found. They hung on a portable rack next to the folding chairs, one a pale pink gown and the other a navy beaded dress, both with delicate hems. The light filtered through the room in soft rectangles, and my heart tightened at the thought of losing them before the weekend. I’ve poured months into these pieces for the wedding, and I’m desperate to find them and bring them home.
